Networking event at the LogiMAT 2017

This year’s LogiMAT trade fair in Stuttgart saw us hold our first networking evening. Together with our partner io-consultants, we invited over 80 guests to an interesting and entertaining evening at the Wyndham Hotel. io-consultants offers comprehensive consulting and planning services for the use of SAP in logistics operations.

First on the agenda for the evening was Jonathan De Deken, Director Distribution Center Leuven at VWR. VWR International BVBA is an international trading company that provides products and services for laboratories and clean rooms. VWR also offers customers its own laboratory products.
In his presentation, Mr. De Deken gave a detailed insight into the implementation and day-to-day use of pick by vision. The realistic presentation of how our order picking solution works helped the audience gain a clearer picture.
Following his presentation, Mr. De Deken was available for interesting discussions, and spoke in glowing terms about using Picavi in warehouse logistics.
You can read the case study about the use of pick by vision at VWR here.

The presentation was followed by networking with drinks and finger food. We at Picavi were on hand to answer any questions about our pick by vision solution. Our partner io-consultants was also available to provide advice on project implementation. This helped create a lively but relaxed atmosphere, encouraging guests to make new contacts and discuss a range of professional and other topics.

We would like to thank all those who attended. Our guests made the evening an enjoyable occasion, which we aim to repeat next year. So save the date: March 13, 2018, after the first day of LogiMAT.
