Everyone is talking about digitization. We also noticed this at the Enterprise Workspace Award, for which we had applied. Our application convinced the jury so much that we were invited to Frankfurt as a finalist in mid-October.
At the Workspace Enterprise Summit of the Vogel IT Akademie, experts for the digital transformation of the working environment met – be it in the office, on mobile devices or even in the warehouse. The jury around Pascal Matzke from the well-known market research company Forrester Research was convinced by our pitch about the success factor „human” in logistics. Pick-by-Vision supports the human in the warehouse and convinces with simple and intuitive operation. This is not about replacing that success factor, but about the best possible support in a very fast-moving and growing environment.
This approach was successful both with the listening guests of the event in Frankfurt’s Villa Kennedy and with the jurors of the “Customer Experience & Dexterity” category, which we occupied. The pitch from our Director Marketing & Communications – Johanna Bellenberg – was dedicated to the ergonomic advantages for the workers and of course to the improvements that visual guidance in the warehouse environment brings with it. Thanks to the constant exchange with the workers in the warehouse, we were able to further optimize the user interface of the glasses, which is why we are all the more delighted about the award.
Gold for Picavi!
With our short and concise presentation of the Pick-by-Vision solution, we also convinced the jury at the end of the event in the Main metropolis: We won gold! “We had a year full of highlights in 2019 and were again able to welcome many new members to the Picavi family and expand existing partnerships. It’s particularly great to also receive an appreciation for our product from experts,” said Johanna Bellenberg on the occasion of the award ceremony.
