The Covid-19 pandemic has shown that e-commerce is essential for business survival. Based on current estimates, up to 95% of all purchases will be made online by 2040. According to marketing and consumer data specialist Statista, e-commerce revenue is due to rise to 4.5 billion dollars in 2021.

This poses huge challenges to online retailers and logistics companies. But what are the lessons from the e-commerce boom of 2020?
